When Lee first learns of the club, a plan starts to formulate. He thinks about how George sprung that little shopping trip on him, and decides that it's time for a little payback.

He does some research and makes an appointment, then texts George to tell him that they're going out for dinner, that he'll be picked up at 8pm, and that Lee would like it very much if he wore the plug.

The thought of going to a sex club is sort of nerve wracking and intriguing all at the same time. He doesn't know if he particularly wants to partake in anything, but he's curious. He wants to check it out, and he thinks that George will, too. Hell, with all that George has gotten up to, it might seem like child's play to him.

But to Lee, it's entirely new. For him, sex has always been this clandestine, hidden thing. It was animal behavior, biology to be taken care of and little else. But he's learning so much about all the other ways it can be, and this seems like a good way to further his education.

He's even snuck the collar away to keep in his pocket. He doesn't want to tell George to wear that, too. It's never been worn out of the safety of George's apartment before, and he wants that choice to be George's, so Lee will let him make it once he has all the information.

He decides to get a cab for the trip, not wanting to drive his beat up old truck when he may possibly be impaired. He's dressed in all black-- jeans and a silky button down and his boots, with his face shaved and his dark red curls actually combed and styled. He looks-- good. It's not often that he looks into the mirror and thinks that, but it's happening more often lately. That's George's influence, he's sure.

Once the car pulls up to George's building, Lee shoots him a text. Come downstairs.

George doesn't know what a shantytown is, but he can imagine that he and Lee grew up in very different places, even if the house he'd been a child in had been drafty and full of beatings.

"Maybe to get to this point," he says. "Maybe everything we did was leading us to here."

He takes another bite of his burger.

Lee pauses in his chewing and looks over at George, staring at him for a long moment before he smiles softly and nods.

“Maybe,” he says once he swallows. “I’m glad I stuck it out.”

He finishes the second burger and his milkshake and then lets out a satisfied sigh, flopping to the side so that his head is on George’s lap.

George doesn't ask what that look was, and he smiles when Lee shifts position, draping himself across the couch and into his lap. George wipes his hands on a napkin before he touches him, taking another sip of his milkshake, combing the fingers of his free hand through Lee's bright hair.

"Do you know what I think I miss most from home?" He's given this a lot of thought, over the year and some that he's been in Darrow. "Horses."

“They have horses here,” Lee reminds him, letting out a low hum as George plays with his hair. He never realized just how badly he needed simple, easy affection until George started giving it to him.

“I’ve never been on a horse,” he says, feeling relaxed as he lounges there. Feeling relaxed at all is a relatively new thing for him. It’s rare for him to fully uncoil, and it only ever seems to happen around George.

"I know. I've ridden. It just isn't the same," he says, smiling as Lee visibly relaxes. He sets the milkshake aside so that he can rest one hand on Lee's chest, thumb stroking against his skin, the other hand still busy in his hair. "We could change that. i could take you."

“Well, you can ride me any time you’d like,” he quips with a smirk, practically purring as George’s hands make themselves at home on his body. It surprises Lee, almost, how much he likes it. “I’ll even try to buck you off, if you want.”

He rolls onto his back and looks up at George, smiling softly up at him. “I’d give it a go.”

For George, he’d probably try anything.

George laughs at that, rolling his eyes fondly, tightening his fingers slightly to tug at Lee's hair.

"Hellion," he says, his voice full of affection. "Shower? Or we could make use of the bath tub. It's been a while."

George pulls at his hair and Lee playfully bares his teeth and growls, then smiles at the pet name. He likes that one.

Lee thinks for a moment. They don’t make use of the bathtub often. He just doesn’t see the point of baths when he’s just trying to get clean. But he thinks back on the night of that fight, where George held him in the tub and Lee felt like he could truly relax for the first time since he was a child.

“A bath sounds nice,” he says in a voice as casual as he can manage, reaching down to curl his hand around George’s calf. “Do you want some time to yourself?”

Lee knows what answer he’s hoping for, but he’ll respect whichever one he gets. “I can clean up out here.”

Usually, after the collar, he needs some time on his own to decompress but, tonight, he isn't feeling that. Tonight, he wants to keep Lee close. He shakes his head.

"Come with me. We can clean up later."

Or tomorrow. There'll be time.

Lee tries to play it cool, but he can’t help the relieved grin that spreads across his face. He understands when George needs time, but he’s relieved to not have to be on his own tonight.

That should worry him, perhaps. He is so used to being a solitary creature, and becoming dependent on someone else is such a dangerous thing.

But he looks up at George and his brain just shuts up, because look at him.

“Okay.” He sits up and gets to his feet, turning to reach for George’s hands. “Let’s go. You smell like a whore house.”

"And I wonder who's fault that is," says George, taking Lee's hands and hauling himself up to his feet. He lets go to stretch both arms over his head until he can feel it in his back. "I haven't felt this thoroughly fucked in a while, honestly."

Tangling his fingers with Lee's again, he draws him with him, through the bedroom and into the bathroom. He lets go long enough to start the tap, grabbing the bottle of fragrant stuff he keeps for this and pouring a measure in so the bubbles start.

“So you liked my date night idea, then,” Lee teases, but he’s glad to hear that he did well.

“Or are you trying to say that I’ve been slacking?” He drawls with a smirk, leaning over George and kissing the back of his shoulder. His arms go around him from behind and he hooks his chin over George’s shoulder, rocking him a little as he watches the water fill. “Bubbles, really?”

"Why not?" says George, leaning back against him as the tub starts to fill. "And yes, I enjoyed it. Deeply. And now, you haven't been slacking." He turns in Lee's arms and takes a kiss. He still loves that they're so close in height.

"Though I'll never object to being well fucked. For the record."

“For the record, that’s the least surprising thing I’ve ever heard,” Lee replies, chuckling as George leans in for a kiss. He drops his hands down to push George’s sweats down, greedily grabbing his ass in both hands and hauling him in close.

“But duly noted.” He kisses George again and then steps away to remove his own sweats, kicking them aside and getting two towels to set near the tub.

George makes a soft, pleased sound as Lee pulls him in, bare skin to bare skin. He cradles Lee's face in both hands to kiss him again, and then pulls away so that he can turn off the flow of water.

"Which way around so you want to be?" He's physically bigger than Lee, but he also doesn't mind, either way.

“Why do you always make me say it?” Lee laughs and cuts George a look, but he’s smiling. “I want to be in front and you know it.”

He jerks his chin toward the back of the tub, reaching out to ruffle his hand through George’s hair. “Get in the tub.”

"Because I like it when you blush. You don't do it that often," says George, stepping into the bath and lowering himself into the steaming water with a soft groan. He lets his knees fall apart, leaving plenty of room for Lee to settle between them.

"It's pretty."

“I’m sure you saw it plenty tonight,” Lee murmurs, watching as George settles into the tub, waiting for Lee to climb in after him. It’s astounding that this is his life.

And then George calls him pretty, which is like the moon complimenting the stars, Lee’s blush only deepens. Still, he scoffs and he steps into the water, bracing his hands on the side as he settles down between George’s thighs. The hot water feels so nice and Lee sighs as he relaxes back against George’s broad chest.

Once Lee is settled, George wraps one arm around his waist, the other draped along the side of the tub.

"A fair amount," he admits, turning his head to brush a curve against the shell of Lee's ear. "Did you enjoy it? You asked about me."

“I did,” Lee assures him, sighing and folding his arm over George’s on his chest. He’s quiet for a moment, deciding how to continue.

“It got a little intense at parts, but nothing too bad. There was a point where you felt— I dunno, really far away,” Lee admits. He is so unused to talking about his feelings that his words are almost stilted, like it takes effort to get each one out. But he keeps going. “And it was hard to let everyone look at you like that, a little.”

He knows that one deserves more explanation and he takes a moment, finding that it’s easier to talk when George can’t see his face. “Not so much because I’m like, possessive of you. It’s— I think it’s because it’s a time when you’re so vulnerable.”

He squeezes George’s wrist. “And I want to keep you safe.”

Nobody's ever said anything like that to him before. James, sometimes, said similar, but George had always known that that could change on a whim, like the breeze. It means more coming from Lee.

"I felt far away," he admits. "It's like...when it really hits, it's like water closing my head. But I felt safe the whole time, because I knew you were there and I knew you wouldn't let anything happen I wouldn't want."

“I wouldn’t,” Lee confirms fiercely, putting his other hand on George’s under the water. “But yeah, it’s just little moments. Where I kind of need to check in.”

He’s quiet for a moment, cheeks flushing as he plays the night over in his mind. He thinks about how powerful he felt, how sternly in control of the situation.

“But I have no complaints,” he adds sincerely. “Not bad at all for my first time having a threesome. Or having sex in public.” He paused. “Well, technically.”

"You can always check in," says George, threading their fingers together under the water. "I'll always come back to you."

He himself happily, his nose brushing against Lee's skin. "I thought you took to it surprisingly well. Though you should have told us -- we might have taken more care of you."

He laughs, remembering the look on Alex's face when Lee has confessed.

“I don’t know what you think I was doing at those truck stops,” Lee says with a cackle, pressing himself back against George’s chest. He’s much broader than Lee, and he wouldn’t admit to anyone else, but he likes being held by someone bigger than him.

“Making a whole night of it. Having time to just… explore. Play,” Lee admits, breathing in and sinking a bit deeper into the water. “That’s all new to me.”

"When you put it like that, it really should have been more obvious."

His arms tighten around Lee for a moment as he pushes back, keeping him close. "Did we do anything you'd like to do again? If it helps, a lot of that was new to me, too."
