two bloodthirsty monsters walk into a bar
When Lee heads for the bar, his plan is to find someone to leave with. He still doesn't know if the plan ends with him eating them or fucking them, but he needs something. He's antsy and lonely, and in too dark a mood to be around Bev or any of the few other friends he's made in this place.
He's lonely, but not safe to be in the company of anyone normal. Same shit, different day.
The bar is a bit of a dive-- the kind of place with no security cameras and bartenders with hazy memories, and Lee takes a deep breath as he steps inside. There are so many smells, all of them layered over one another, so many hearts beating in overlapping rhythms that it's a little dizzying for a moment, but he adjusts.
He sits at a stool and orders a beer from the girl behind the bar. She looks too young to be working here, or maybe she's playing into it for tips, with her pigtails and sparkly lip gloss. Either way, it's kind of depressing. He takes a sip from his beer and straightens a little at the sudden itch at the back of his neck, like his hair is standing on edge. Like a predator is near.
When he slowly turns to look, he sees Lestat across the room and goes deathly still for a moment, then turns back toward the bar. There's a dirty mirror behind the liquor bottles on the bar and Lee stares at it, making out the smudged blur of Lestat's reflection, then swallows hard and curses himself for reacting at all.
He still doesn't quite know what to make of the night that met Lestat. Sometimes it still doesn't feel entirely real, but most of all he's embarrassed, he thinks. Even the people he's been closest to in his life never saw him like that, flayed open and raw, but he had wept in Lestat's arms. He'd been kissed tenderly, and then Lestat had wiped the blood from his face and got up and left, like he hadn't just reduced Lee to rubble.
Lestat probably hadn't spared Lee another thought. He probably just went on with his fabulous rock star life having forgotten all about his encounter with the gremlin under the bridge. Lee isn't being malicious or petty in these thoughts. It's just what makes the most sense to him. It's what he's used to.
"Do you want another?" The bartender asks after Lee finishes his beer, and he hesitates, honestly unsure. He had come here to hunt in one way or another, but there's someone higher up on the food chain already here, so he should probably just find somewhere else.
It angers him, though. He had come out because he needed something, anything, and now he just feels worse than before.

Lee lifts his head as the girl kisses his neck, feeling one corner of his mouth pull back in a smirk when he spots Lestat in the distance. He stands there and watches and Lee looks over at him, sweeping the girl's thick hair away from the pale line of her neck. He meets Lestat's gaze as he puts his mouth to her skin, then lets his eyes fall shut as he drags his tongue up the length of it.
His cock is hard in his jeans, fingers dipping into her underwear to find her wet, and then there's a rustle of leaves and Lestat is suddenly there, fingers brushing Lee's lips as he grips the girl's throat. She opens her eyes with a gasp and they widen with fear when she sees Lestat standing there with them, laughing nervously as she looks between them.
"I didn't really agree to a party," she chokes out, doing her best to twist away from them. She can't, not with their combined strength, and she smells like lust and fear all at once. Lee doesn't usually like this part, seeing them afraid. He usually does his best to make it quick, to try not to let them see it coming, but tonight feels a little different. Lestat makes him feel less ashamed of what he has to do. They're monsters, both of them, but that is their nature. That's how they were made.
"Well," Lee breathes out, stepping back to give her over to Lestat, eager to see what he'll do. "We didn't exactly ask."

"Shhh," he murmured, her body going slack as he met her clouded eyes. Looking into her. Through her. The hand around her throat loosened, his touch becoming gentle. A sharp claw traced the curve of her cheek, raising a thin line of blood.
She gasped, compliant, her lust returning, and she didn't fight at all as his teeth sank into her throat.

The night air is thick with the scent of their combined arousal, and it makes Lee so, so hungry that his breath hitches when Lestat bites her, mouth watering as he smells blood. Lee’s eyes go dark, lips curling back slightly as he opens his mouth, blunt teeth shining in the moonlight.
Usually at this point, there is no small amount of shame at what he’s about to do, but tonight it’s absent. He meets Lestat’s eyes as he drinks from her, and it feels different, somehow.
He waits until the girl goes limp, light draining from her eyes, and then steps up to the other side of her, getting a better look. Lestat’s eyes are dark, wild like an animal’s, and Lee feels something akin to how it felt to eat with Maren. Something like it, but better. Freer.
Lee tilts his head and opens his mouth against the other side of her neck, reaching around her to clutch at Lestat’s arm as he bites down, teeth tearing through skin and sinew to get to the meat below. It’s fresh against his tongue and Lee groans low in his throat, feeling satisfied in a way that he hasn’t allowed himself for so long.

It was animal in a way that his feedings were not, and there was something viscerally off-putting for a vampire to watch a creature consuming the flesh of the dead. Blood was to be taken from the living, otherwise a vampire might follow that victim into the void of death. Still, he did not turn away. He watched, his head at a curious tilt.

But this hunt, they did together. Eaters are not meant to be pack animals, he’s sure, but Lee is elated to not be alone. He clutches at Lestat’s arm as he eats, tearing away bits of flesh with preternaturally strong teeth. He could keep going, eat down to the bone, but he pulls himself away and steps back, letting the body crumple to the ground with plans to come back later and finish the job, clean up the mess.
For now, he turns his dark eyes on Lestat, licking blood from his lips as he tilts his head in an unintended mimicry of the other man. Lestat’s fangs are still extended, bloody and sharp, and Lee turns in toward him to reach up and put a hand on his face, licking his own blunt teeth as he rubs the pad of his thumb curiously against one of Lestat’s fangs.
They’re so close together and Lee feels like his blood has been set ablaze, heart pounding as he gives into the urge to lean in and replace his thumb with the flat of his tongue, dragging it across Lestat’s teeth and the corner of his mouth.

But the boy was eager and blazing hot as Lestat gripped his upper arms, holding him at a distance for just a moment before allowing him close, his own tongue sweeping across the boy's bloodied chin.

It's a relief when Lestat allows him closer, but Lee doesn't get any silly ideas as to what it might mean. They're just satisfying one urge after another, and that's just fine by him.
With his belly full, he can focus entirely on his lust. For once, being this close to someone doesn't make him feel at war with himself. It's usually one hunger fighting another for dominance, but Lestat doesn't trigger that in him. Because he isn't alive, not really, but his tongue sure feels like it when he licks blood from Lee's chin. He shifts his head and whimpers when their mouths meet in a messy kiss, bloody lips sliding together as Lee's hands grab at Lestat's waist. One of his fangs tears at Lee's lip and his breath hitches, cock jerking at that brief sting of pain, and Lee urges Lestat back against a tree trunk before sinking to his knees in front of him, eyes dark as he stares up at Lestat and reaches for his fly.
